Train retired journalists (and any other interested retirees) in data journalism. Pay them modest sums to dive deep into local projects, then bill those media outlets for a fraction of what that reporting would cost on the open market.


The goal…

Give retired journalists a mission that matters. Give media outlets the reporting they crave. Create a data journalism project that works in the real world.
